I want vengeance so badly that I can almost taste it. It’s all I’ve ever wanted. So, I did what any privileged, adopted boarding school girl would do. I slapped on a secret identity and became an internationally renowned thief, known as The Fox. Nobody knows me. Nobody can catch me.
Or so I thought…
It turns out; I have what they want. Special abilities. And trust me, these abilities are coveted – and dangerous. Now, I don’t know who to trust or where to go. Peril lurks on every corner as I try to uncover my past and origin. Teaming up with unlikely allies may be my only chance at survival or my biggest mistake. Only time will tell.
I’m Kit Davenport and this is only the beginning.
~AUTHOR INTERVIEW with Tate James~
1) What gave you the inspiration for the
storyline?
Kit Davenport’s story was inspired by a bit of a random car-trip
conversation with my husband, in which we were discussing which animals would
make the best secret agents. I was rather partial to the Fox’s sneaky stealth
ability while he was determined it was a ferret… men, huh? Lol
2) Are there any hidden themes in the book
that you hope readers will discover?
I don’t know how hidden they are, but the core themes that I hope will
come across are that of a strong woman who overcomes adversity, faces her
demons and comes out stronger for it. As always, my stories are about female empowerment.
3) Are any of the characters based on real
people you know?
No, but they’re for sure people I’d want to know!
4) Who has influenced you most as a writer?
It sounds biased, because we do now co-write, but C.M. Stunich has
been a really big influence in my writing. She is such a passionate person, who
gets genuinely attached to every single one of her characters, not just the
leads. As well as that, she is the hardest worker I think I have ever met and
has an imagination unlike anyone else. Recently we wrote a reverse harem
romance series about supernatural plumbers. Hot right? She is my #authorgoals.
5) If you could have any three literary
characters over to your place for game night, who would you invite, what would
you play, what would you serve, and why?
Turner Campbell from C.M. Stunich’s Real Ugly, Kade from Jaymin Eve’s
Queen Heir, and Silas from Jane Washington’s Charcoal Tears. We would play
strip poker and tequila would be served… liberally. Why? *winks*

She is a lover of books, red wine, cats and coffee and is not a morning person. She is a bit too sarcastic and swears too much for polite society and definitely tells too many dirty jokes.
